Community-driven ecommerce startup The Nestery has raised over Rs 6 crore in funding led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

“A new parent today is spoilt for choice but doesn’t know what to choose because parenting is a brand-new life stage with a steep learning curve. So, they rely on research or consulting other parents about what to buy, and when to buy. We want to use our contextual catalog to help parents discover the right products at the right time on their parenting journey,” said Vaishnavi Rangarajan, founder and chief executive officer, The Nestery.

“We are excited to bring IPV on board to lead this round. We are looking forward to collaborating with IPV and scaling this business along with all stakeholders,” she added.

Founded in 2019, The Nestery is a marketplace for children and maternity products that helps parents discover what to buy, when, and why. More than 400 brands are registered on the platform. It also has a parenting community called ‘The Nest’, catering to over 100,000 parents nationwide.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its team, improve tech, and produce original content.
